Susie and the Great Woodland Tumble
Being a short photographic exposition of how the combination of a heavy bag, fidgety exuberance, and gravity, might altogether cause a young girl to tumble in the woods.
So there was Susie, all pretty and happy on her oaken knoll. Beside her sat Ayla, calm and delicate in her knolly balance. Peace reigned gently in the Awbridge Woodlands.
And then along came Edward, who delighted the ladies by burying his face in the mossy lump.
But o – such woody thrills caused an imbalance in young Susie, who fell victim to her backpack’s sure groundward destiny.
And down, with the bag, was she drawn.
First she knocked off Ed’s hat, while he was still moss-sniffing. He started up angry at such disturbance…but soon saw the comedy.
The bluebells delicately chortled, and the wood-spurge tittered; giggles aplenty were heard through the woods, that afternoon, when Susie from the tump did fall.
